What this site is. PowerPack is a private, self-hosted dashboard that lets an owner monitor and control their own solar-power inverter system. It is operated for personal/owner use and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing Eybond, SmartESS, Dessmonitor, Solarman, or any inverter manufacturer. Brand names are used only to describe the third-party services this dashboard can connect to on your behalf.

Who operates this site

This service ("PowerPack", "we", "us") is operated as a private solar-monitoring dashboard reachable at https://mybm.info. Questions can be sent to security@mybm.info or via our contact page.

What data we collect

Account information you provide when registering: a username, an optional email address, and a password (the password is stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text).
Integration credentials you choose to add (e.g. your SmartESS/Dessmonitor or Solarman account login, or a local Modbus gateway address). These are stored so the dashboard can sign in to your own accounts and retrieve your own data.
Solar telemetry retrieved from those connected systems: power generation, battery, grid exchange, load, device status and historical energy figures.
Technical logs kept by the web server (IP address, timestamp, requested page) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

Collected data is used solely to operate the dashboard for the account owner — to display energy data, drive charts and alarms, and synchronise with the systems you connected. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Cookies & sessions

A single session token is used to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Data retention

High-resolution samples are kept for a few days, daily totals for about a year, and monthly totals for several years, after which they are automatically pruned. You may delete your account and its data at any time from the Account screen.

Security

All traffic is served over HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed. If you believe you have found a security or abuse issue, please see our contact & abuse page or our security.txt.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting security@mybm.info.

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
